Registered and regulated
Atelier is a product of Talastron Ltd, which is registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office as a data controller under reference ZB804967. You can check it on the ICO's public register. We handle your data under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
Where your data lives
- Your wardrobe is stored in Google Cloud, in Google's EU multi-region (Belgium and the Netherlands).
- Photographs of your pieces are stored in Google Cloud's London region.
- We run no database servers of our own.
Where your data leaves the UK, the safeguards UK law requires are set out under Transfers outside the UK.
How it is protected
- Everything travels encrypted (HTTPS), and this website insists on it.
- Everything we store is encrypted at rest, by Google.
- Security rules mean each account can reach only its own wardrobe.
- The app checks that requests come from the real app, not from a bot.
- Every message about your membership, from Lemon Squeezy or Google Play, is verified before anything changes.
No system can promise perfect security. If a breach were likely to put your rights at high risk, we would tell you without undue delay. More under Security.
The AI and your wardrobe
The styling features run only if you agree to them, and you can withdraw at any time. We don't sell your wardrobe, share it for anyone else's use, or use it to train AI models, and under Google Cloud's terms for its AI, Google doesn't train on what we send either.
Payments
You pay Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, or Google Play in the Android app. You give your card details to them, not to us: we never see or store them.
You stay in control
You can download your wardrobe inventory, delete a piece, a photograph or a look for good, or delete your whole account, from inside the app. How, step by step, is on Support.
Reporting a security problem
If you believe you have found a security weakness in Atelier, please write to [email protected] with what you found and how to reproduce it. We will reply, look into it promptly and tell you what we did. Please don't access anyone else's data, and give us a fair chance to fix a problem before you make it public.
