We want everyone to be able to read about Atelier and join it, whatever the device, and whether you use a keyboard, a screen reader, zoom or none of these. This statement covers this website, myatelier.style.
The standard we aim for
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, at level AA. We believe the website meets it, apart from the limitations below.
What is built in
- A "Skip to content" link, the first thing a keyboard reaches on every page.
- A visible focus ring on every link, button and field.
- Text and controls that meet the contrast the standard asks for, on a white page.
- Every meaningful image described; decorative ones hidden from screen readers.
- Pages that reflow on a phone and at 200% zoom without scrolling sideways.
- If you ask your device for less motion, the site's movement stops: pages change without a fade, and nothing rises into place.
How we checked
On 22 September 2026 we tested every main page of the website with the axe accessibility checker in Chrome, at phone and laptop sizes, and by keyboard. That is our own assessment, not an independent audit.
Known limitations
- On the home page, the drawn phone screens in "Ways in" start dimmed and brighten as they come into view; until then, their small lettering is fainter than the standard asks. The same information is given in words beside each screen.
- The live demo on the Studio page is the Atelier app itself, framed in the page. This statement covers the website; the app is assessed separately.
